Oil-immersed transformers

Although Oil immersed transformers are now less frequently used in the field of energy transformation, they have the advantage of a proven experience and are essential for some kind of installation, where the use of cast resin transformers is not suitable.

Having a power ranging from 50kVA and 3150kVA, with Primary voltage up to 36kV, they can be installed in unusual or adverse environmental conditions or in productions with anomalous load conditions.

As almost the totality of its manufacturing is craft-type, different manufacturing methods and various accessories are available, oil immersed transformers will be more a tailor-made product than a standard item, but always in full compliance with the current Ecodesign regulations.

Although its environmental impact can be a disadvantage, oil immersed transformer is the most suitable solution for external installation.
